DIRECTIONS FOR USE

YOUR SPF CHECKLIST

When choosing the correct sun protection, it’s crucial to know your individual skin type and how long it can tolerate the sun before burning.

Adjust your SPF protection according to your location and environment.

Acclimatise your skin to build your tolerance gradually. If your skin has been covered all year, apply a higher SPF for the first few days.

Further application may be required after extensive sweating, swimming, towel drying or in extreme temperatures.

It is important that you take regular shade breaks and that you avoid the midday sun when the UV rays are at their strongest.

Wear loose fitting clothing that covers your skin, a wide brimmed hat and UV protection sunglasses.

Worked in high UV climates

I have used this for 2 years from late Spring to early Autumn in the UK as it's quite heavy for the winter (I tend to swap to a lighter sunscreen). I travelled with it to the Rocky Mountains where the daytime UV index would reach 13 and combined it with a long sleeve shirt and a hat whilst hiking. It kept my face, nose and legs sun kiss free, so much so that I had no faint tan lines after the summer. I did reapply it religiously on my nose as well as after swimming and sweating. I paired it with their lipbalm because I was drinking and eating throughout the day. I am very pale and do not tan so I cannot recommend it enough to other pale folks. It can pill after a few reapplications so if your day blends into night you may want to wash it off before going out in the evening.

Haven’t used it yet, trip begins on Saturday. It had better be good naturally scoring 5 stars! Time will tell.
