Whilst the product is pleasingly lightweight for such a high protection factor, as reported by another reviewer, product separated after a flight (not sure if this is was the cause) and became very difficult to get out of the tube. Result, unused lotion, so wouldn’t purchase again.
In the day and age of using spf all year round... this is a great product, not just spf, as it also has some 'caring' ingredients. Applies well, it can be done in stages too. Great that a dose is also specified on the box. Has amazing results under UV camera... My 'beef' is mainly to do with the price, the market is competitive and there are other quality products which manage to keep their price down, £20 mark for MORE ml... .yes. 40 ml tub lasts me for nothing! I'd expect this to come as a standard 50 ml and kudos if there was 70 ml version. All it takes is to look around at other (non supermarket) brands ;-)
Didn’t realise I was buying something different to what I normally purchase. I didn’t mind once it arrived as it seemed a suitable alternative. However within about 5 days of using on holiday the fluid had split, meaning there were white lumps surrounded by a watery liquid. This made it hard to apply. It was also impossible to get out of the tiny tube it dispenses from. I wouldn’t recommend this, although saying that I didn’t burn.
I previously tried the other factor 50 face cream but it brought me out in spots when I tried it both times (1/4 tsp face). I contacted ultrasun to explain and they offered to exchange it for the anti pollution lotion.
I tried it yesterday (1/4 tsp) and it’s brilliant - non sticky, no spots, stays in place and excellent protection. I used it, waited 15 mins then applied a light foundation and went on a hike. My skin was brilliant all day.
I would say I noticed a slight white cast even after it dried down. I did use the full 1/4 tsp for my face. It was unnoticeable with a foundation over it, but unsure how a more melanated skin would fare.
Ultimately it’s perfect for me and the brand’s customer service is fantastic so 5 stars from me!
