Ultrasun Family SPF30

I've spent my life burning in the sun. I remember applying factor 50 every hour in Antigua and being like a lobster at the end of the day. I have fair skin and suffer from DSAP, a rare skin condition which is worsened by exposure to the sun. My dermatologist encouraged me to look in to the benefits of being in the sun rather than completely abstaining from all sunlight. I did this and found new research proving there are many health benefits to sun exposure, so I decided to find the best sun cream I could and continue to live a normal life and not one spent constantly seeking shade or covering up. This sun scream is amazing, it is easily and quickly absorbed, which I'm sure helps it to be effective. I've just spent 8hrs in 30 degrees in the south of France, without any sun burn using one generous application of this cream in the morning and a top up from the factor 50 for kids in the afternoon. It didn't just work for me, my children, who are both very fair, also did not burn. I'm 45yrs old and I can't believe it's taken me this long to find a sun cream this good. I wish I'd found it years ago. I also did a comparison of the ingredients, considering whether anything was toxic or harmful and it's really quite good. There are chemicals but they're not harmful, unlike many other brands with carcinogenic and toxic ingredients and using silicon for waterproof characteristics, which isn't good for your skin and often causes reactions as your skin can't breathe. Also, great customer service - I had to change my order and a real person who spoke English as their first language answered the phone and sorted it for me, all as promised. No fuss!

I have been using Ultrasun for many years and love it. It gives me the all day protection I need.

This is the 3rd year of using these creams for our summer holidays, in a range of hot countries and each year we have been really impressed with the product and protection it gives. Also love that it is reef safe.

I have struggled with tolerating sun cream for years and recently found out I have an allergy to zinc so cant use mineral based creams!!! After a lot of trial and error this is the only one i tolerate on my body, i never burn, apply an hour before i go outside and it goes on like moisturiser with no white marks. Ive also found an Ultrasun face spf that i tolerate too!!!

Wish the factor 50 sport was as light as 30

We only use Ultrasun for our 14 month old baby and also for my wife and I. It’s a fantastic product, lasts for a good time (you don’t need lots of it) and we’ve never had any issues with sun since we started using it.

The product is excellent and truly does what it says on the tin

Although the high end of the scale price wise I find this product the best go to for daily use (I work outside or am outside most days of the year). Both the gel and lotions provide good protection.

Every February we go to either Maldives or Caribbean. We have always used Piz Buin. Thought this year we would try something new and spend a bit more money on cream. We both have dark skin and never burnt. Wow did we burn with Ultrasun. Cream doesn’t go far so had to use loads. After day one put on every 2 hours. By day 3 went and bought some Suncream from the hotel. Will never use Ultrasun again. Worst Suncream ever used!

We have used this for years it suits all the family, my husband burns easily and he loves this cream. I also use on my son it's a great base cream put it on before you go out and let it soak in for maximum effect and no burning.

Always use Ultrasun and 100ml are great for hand luggage.

Super for sun protection and really long lasting. I can still see its there after swimming so great water resistance.
However, this made my prickly heat 1000 x worse. I usually only get in under my armpits, but I got it all over my body using this! I just think it creates too much of a barrier for prickly heat prone skin, its also extremely drying!

Definitely the best sun cream you can get. I use it as a body lotion after a morning shower and feel protected for most of the day. We do reapply later and after we've been in water.

Absolutely amazing product highly recommend. I suffer with alot of allergies and alot of sun protection creams cause very ichy and irritating skin. This is perfect no issues

Seamless application, great coverage, no sticky residue, completely vegan. It’s pricey but a small amount goes a long way.
I won’t go back to cheaper brands.

We have used this product for a few years now we have never had any problems with it my husband gets bad prickly heat and has not got it since using this

I’ve been suffering badly from prickly heat for many years . Nothing has helped, until I was recommended Ultrasun. I’ve not had one prickle since, I can’t believe it !!

We have been using this sun cream for a few years. Ideal for sensitive skin. My family have allergy prone skin and are fine with this sunscreen.

Lovely products to use. Gives you a wide range of factors and consistencies to choose from. Easy application, non greasy formulas. Feels light on the skin and sinks in well. Not sticky either. I've just bought the sensitive range which is a godsend for my skin type. I have reactions to most sunscreen but not this one. I would highly recommend these products to everyone. I won't use anything other than Ultrasun from now on.

I have reactive skin, so the opportunity to purchase 25ml sample sizes was really appreciated.

The product felt like a light creme lotion, easy to apply, dried quickly, non sticky and medium shine. I couldn't feel this on my face after dry down, which is a sensory nightmare for me with other sunscreens.

However after a 2 consecutive days of wearing this, the only new product introduced. I had redness and each pore on my face was raised and my face stung. After stopping the use of this and restorative treatment my face recovered after 24hrs. I tried again, within 6hrs the same rash and redness. So unfortunately a no from me.

It also stung my eyes if used too close to them.

However I would still recommend this for the feel and finish alone. Or as a body sunscreen, because I didn't have a reaction on my décolleté.
