Our iconic Sports Gel SPF30 provides long lasting protection against the sun’s harmful UVA, UVB and Infrared A rays. This non-greasy, transparent liquid gel is really easy to apply and gentle enough to use on the scalp (ideal for thinning or receding hair). Due to dry touch technology it absorbs within seconds, even through body hair. An advanced water resistant formula, tried and tested by elite athletes. Suitable for all skin types.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply indoors to clean, dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. Suitable for the face and body. Please refer to product packaging for detailed instructions.

YOUR SPF CHECKLIST

When choosing the correct sun protection, it’s crucial to know your individual skin type and how long it can tolerate the sun before burning.

Adjust your SPF protection according to your location and environment.

Acclimatise your skin to build your tolerance gradually. If your skin has been covered all year, apply a higher SPF for the first few days.

Further application may be required after extensive sweating, swimming, towel drying or in extreme temperatures.

It is important that you take regular shade breaks and that you avoid the midday sun when the UV rays are at their strongest.

Wear loose fitting clothing that covers your skin, a wide brimmed hat and UV protection sunglasses.

Best suncream to avoid prickly heat

I have suffered with prickly heat for many years. I purchased the Ultra sun sport gel 50 which has been fantastic. No prickly heat or streaky tan. Finally I have found the suncream that works for me.

Burnt badly as I couldn't see the uneven coverage

I’m giving it 3 stars because when you slap absolutley loads on it really does work. I’ve been using this brand for years and really trust it. I decided to switch to the gel as there was a special offer. For the first time I have burnt. It goes on more like a dry oil and I think although it looked like I had applied enough I hadn’t and I burnt really badly. I used it again and applied lots which was horrible at the start as I felt very sticky but it did dry well and is waterfproof. I didn’t burn again so if you are using it I would say you can trust it but put on a lot more than you think you’ll need. I’ll be going back to the cream version after this

not sure it works

The day after it was delivered BBC breakfast and which did a piece on Ultrasun SPF30 family and how it didnt pass their tests. This hardly fills me with confidence. I contacted Ultrasun asking if I could return the product and still have not heard back which is pretty poor.

This gel went on well, but I could not tell where I had put it so purchased a different brand as a cream whilst on holiday.
